Allied Air Cargo the Nigerian all cargo operator is pleased to announce the addition of a MD-11 Freighter to its fleet. The MD-11F leased from Gemini Air Cargo will join the DC-10-30 Freighters also leased from Gemini and Allied’s own fleet of B-727-200 Freighters.
Allied operate three flights weekly from it’s European hub at Ostend International Airport to Lagos Murtala Muhammed Airport and onto Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport with DC-10-30Fs, which effective 19th February 2008 upgrade to the fuel efficient MD-11F.
The additional capacity that the MD-11F gives meets the growing demand for Allied Air’s services to Lagos and the increased demand for Kenyan horticultural produce in Europe.
ANA Aviation Services Group, an organisation of over 25 years in the African market is responsible for marketing Allied Air’s services worldwide.
The addition of the MD-11F opens the opportunity for Allied Air to link China, Dubai and India with it’s hub at Lagos.
From Lagos Allied operate its fleet of B-727Fs regionally throughout West Africa having the advantage of their own secure airside transit shed.
Allied Air also has availability for Charters on the MD-11F, DC-10-30Fs and B-727-200Fs
